Unbelievable rude store manager & staff - they will add items to your order w/o your knowledge so watch out.. .

I called ahead to the Whitehall Ohio location to ask if they installed batteries with purchase and was told yes, but that I wld have to wait while they serviced existing customers in line. Ok, no problem. I got there, the store manager ignored me. The line of customers was served. Then customers that came in AFTER me were served and I was ignored. The store manager chatted with a man after ringing him up and ignored the fact that I was next and no other customers had come in the store or were in line yet. The the store manager told the other man at the 2nd register to serve everyone but me. So, he yelled out "Next customer in line EXCEPT the battery install". Nice way to treat a customer buying a $200 battery. So a younger guy installed the battery after more than 30 minutes. Then I noticed an additional charge of $3.49 for a battery install kit that I did not ask for, that was unopened and not used on my car - when I got home. That pissed me off. My brother in law intended to buy all the parts etc he needs for his fleet of business vehicles -- not after learning of my experience. The three car enthusiasts who work at my law firm with me who recommended I go there? They won't be patronizing this store anymore either.

Was lied to by store clerk.....had not…

Was lied to by store clerk.....had not been planning on buying Lucas fuel treatment,was just waiting on him to check about whole other part,was just killing time,until he said that is buy one get one free , im sure he will probley say i misunderstood!! Yeah,RIGHT have reciept right here, its1304 tiffin ave finlay,ohio #0718....

FRAUD Did not order anything from autoZone

Did not order anything from autoZone
I was charged 2 times for nothing (90usd)
Trying to call them and nobody picks up
Tried to email them and nobody replies
I guess this is the only way to do it

Go to a different store

I went in to get a new battery for my mothers car that was parked at the hospital. I had no tools, and asked if we could barrow theirs so we can change the battery out, they said no because bums steal them....I felt like saying....Do I look like a bum to you! Anyways they told me to buy the tools and return them if I wanted. This was horrible customer service!
There was a red head in the aisles that apologized for the 2 at the cash register (another worker).
Told me if we needed something to just go to her, I'm assuming they have had this attitude before.

Misleading delivery times - False advertisement

I have ordered several items from Auto Zone.COM. Every time I order they state it will be here the next day but often fail to deliver. Recently, I needed a gas tank to replace a leaking one. I am in a hurry because it is leaking, and it needed to be driven it to work. I ordered it with next day delivery for Friday in time for the weekend. Friday comes and goes; I get an e-mail Saturday saying it is delayed. But no indication of how long or if they have it is stock. Same thing happened today. Made an order for Rear Struts that they claim are in stock with delivery the next day. Two days later I get an email stating it is delayed. Again, no indication of how long or if they will ship it at all. I call "Customer Service" they state I can call back Monday (three days after it was supposed to be here) to find out when it may ship. Looks like false advertisement.

Defective Products - BEWARE

Beware of AutoZone!
Bought a Duralast (AutoZone store brand name) Coolant Temp Sensor for $43.49 (tax included), took it home, and it was not even screwed in and broke in half. Had to fish it out with a Q-tip! Had it been screwed in and broken off, I would have had to hire a tow company and mechanic shop to remove. It was bought over the phone and picked up at the Menifee, CA store. The manager would not refund even with photos and said drive back. It is not legal to sell defective auto parts that breaks the same day before using it! I am thankful that it was not worse. Had to call the credit card company to report. See photos. Bye forever to Duralast and AutoZone! This was too frightening and could have been worse. Evil.

Went in to get a $39 battery, fully expecting it to be $59. Oh hail no, these greedy jackalopes wanted 180 bucks for a pint sized AGM for a sub compact rice burner. Corporate greed knows no bounds in tRump's murrica.

Tracy at the Mobile, Al store on Cottage Hill

Tracy was so very helpful today. A couple of months ago an employee from his store sold and installed the wrong battery in my car. I went in today and Tracy gave excellent customer service in getting me the correct battery and installing it in a very quick turnaround time. Thank you, Tracy!

How easy is it to get a hold of customer service at AutoZone?

A:

It's not too hard to find someone working inside Autozone. What's hard to find in Autozone is someone who doesn't argue with a person who is qualified to work on practically every vehicle and knows what they're talking about. I guess that being a computer jockey makes them a certified mechanic.

A:

Nope. Bunch of ameteurs. Even their oil and windshield wiper fluid is way overpriced. If you want your order to be fulfilled correctly, them go somewhere else. Amazon is too incompetent to handle even basic orders placed via their app. Customer service list tells you "Oh well". Pathetic.

If not in any particular hurry, I prefer to wait for 3-5 days to get my auto parts which was ordered on Hexautoparts. Com. They has lowest price with the most cooperative customer service. I saved a lot of money with HexAutoParts.
